Embracing experimentation, she explores diverse tactile qualities of materials, crafting immersive atmospheres through installations that play with light, sound, and textural woven assemblies.

πŸͺ‘Themes in Karla’s Work:

Her work always involves an element of craft, and she is intrigued by the possibilities offered by various mediums and materials. As a weaver, these opportunities for experimentation enable her to delve into the diverse tactile qualities of materials and the infinite atmospheres achievable by manipulating light, sound, and texture through woven assemblies.

Join us on Saturday, April 13th for an artist demonstration with Karla who will be showing us how to make a repeating pattern!
