Treeline play old school country with Whiskeyface

E-mail Print PDF

The Slice had a decent crowd for Whiskeyface and Treeline., Aug. 24.Treeline’s Ryan Dyck. Photo by Richard Amery

While I missed Whiskeyface. I caught some of Treeline’s strong but laid back set of country including originals as well as covers from Andrew Neville and the Poor Choices, George Jones and sometime band mate Sean Brewer.

They played an excellent set with tasteful guitar from Taylor Ackerman, down home vocals from Ryan Dyck, Tyler Bird thumping away at the stand up bass and Clayton Smith held down the beat.
