Lethbridge country band The Coal Creek Boys began work on a new DVD with a video shoot  at the Slice, Thursday, May 10.

The Boys, Johnpaul SmitCoal Creek Boys Johnpaul Smith. They could only do four songs at a time before taking a break. So they played three from the new CD and finished each set with a new song.

Their second set began strong with “Old Number 7” and followed it  with “Filth,” about Samuel Cobb.

Their third set started off fast with “Lose the Bottle (Genie)” but they slowed thingss down with “Snow and  a  new slower song before ending with a  cover of “Good Old Boys,” the theme from the Dukes of Hazzard.
