Shaela Miller and Treeline share new songs and old favourites

E-mail Print PDF

Shaela Miller and Treeline play a few new songs. Photo by Richard AmeryShaela Miller and Treeline had a good sized crowd cheering for them at the Slice, Oct. 12.

The long time Lethbridge  favourites played a solid set of material, mostly from Treeline’s “Prairie Sentimentalist” CD including “Tombstone Grey,” one of my favourite Treeline songs. Ryan Dyck and Shaela Miller took turns singing lead— a couple songs apiece.

She sang one of her crowd favourites “Halfway in Love” and sang an excellent duet with Dyck on a brand new song the band had never played live before called “Curtains.”

Lead guitarist Taylor Ackerman sang lead on another song, then took over on stand -up bass as Tyler Bird sang  lead on another song.
