Montreal based folk/ blues and jazz duo the A.W. Cardinal duo played a strong set of rural blues and folk music to an intimate audience, Feb. 4.
Frontman Alexander Wesley and a bassist I believe was Jasmine Ohlhauser sang some beautiful vocal harmonies over an old fashioned jazz groove. The bassist set the groove while tapping a snare drum set at her feet and looked lost in the moment, bobbing her head to the beat.
They didn’t speak much to the audience other than to thank them for coming.
