Tanner James plays roots and blues

 He and his guitarist  and steel guitarist played an upbeat set of roots music including an obscure  song by the band, he said was part of Martin Scorceses’s movie on the Band.

He had a pleasant voice reminiscent of Matchbox 20’s  Rob Thomas.
“ It’s been a slice, I mean a hoot,” he joked to end his set.
