Tanner James played an enjoyable set of rock tinged folk music, March 1 at the Owl Acoustic Lounge.
He and his guitarist and steel guitarist played an upbeat set of roots music including an obscure song by the band, he said was part of Martin Scorceses’s movie on the Band.
He had a pleasant voice reminiscent of Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas.
“ It’s been a slice, I mean a hoot,” he joked to end his set.
