For something completely different, Trevor Panczak and Rough Stock were raising money of the University of Lethbridge Women’s Pronghorn soccer team.
They had a good crowd in a two-stepping mood, April 20 even when I arrived just past midnight.
While Panczak himself was in the crowd talking to people and getting his photo taken, he left the stage in the capable hands of his band, who played an array of contemporary country hits to begin their set.
Kyle Harmon sat behind the drum kit, while Uncle Cecil played bass and sang “Six Days On The Road.”
There was plenty of steel guitar and lots of two stepping on the dance floor.
Keyboardist Rob Habetler also sang a couple songs as well.
