“We’ve only done two shows with them so far. But so far it’s been great. though we’ve only chatted to them a few times. They said we’ll find some time to sit down and have a beer together, so we’ll be doing that, and getting some sage advice from them,”  said lead vocalist Shane Volk.

Things have taken off for the band so they are looking forward to getting to work on their next CD.
“We’ve been on the road pretty much since January. We did a tour with Buck Cherry , then we toured western Canada and Eastern Canada on our own. We don’t really take a vacation,” he said.

“We’ll probably take some time around Christmas to hang out with our families,” he said.

They have just released the third and last single from their latest CD “Retribution Blues.”

“ Three is a nice round number,” he said.
“ We’re constantly writing. So we’ll go into the studio in January, which a good time of the year to be off the road. We already have 10 or 15 solid songs,” he continued.

Their opening sets for Crash Karma range between a half hour and 45 minutes.“ But no matter how many minutes it is, we always deliver,” he said.

“Things are falling into place. So it will probably be out next year some time.”

Even when they plan on taking time off, if something comes up, they’ll never say no.
“We never take anything for granted. We’ll never say no if something comes up,” he said.

One thing they are hoping will come up will be a chance to play Grey Cup Week in Regina.

“We entered a contest through Sirius XM radio to do it because we love rock and roll and we love football.
We’re from Saskatoon, so of course, we love the Rough Riders. So it  would be cool to represent them. And we’d get to come and hang out during Grey Cup week,” he said.
