Mormon Girls and betterhalf help launch Anxiety Zine

E-mail Print PDF

Stacy Bru released her new comic zine Anxiety for a respectably sized audience at the  Owl Acoustic Lounge, July 31.  Local bass and drums duo betterhalf including Silvana Campus andbetterhalf's Aaron Trozzo on drums for the Anxiety Zine release, July 31. Photo by Richard Amery drummer Aaron Trozzo plus the Mormon Girls provided the soundtrack for the night.

Betterhalf played a haunting set of bass heavy indie rock as Campus sang haunting vocals while Trozzo played thunderous drums.
The Mormon Girls played a solid set of original alternative indie rock which started slowly as they picked up the pace.

Mick Hayward played guitar and traded lead vocals with Tyson Wiebe, playing a bass/ guitar hybrid. I hadn’t heard them for a while, so it was good to see them again.
