A rare local performance from Lethbridge singer/ songwriter Matthew Robinson is always a special event.

So  he enlisted some top notch talent for  his  band’s Oct. 11 show at the Owl Acoustic Lounge including drummer Kyle Harmon, bassist Tyson Maiko and Leeroy Stagger to play some hot lead guitar.

They played a lot of Matthew Robinson’s  country rock style originals and a cover of Ryan Adams’ new song “Gimmie Something Good.”

Leeroy Stagger gave the full house a taste of his new album  by playing a brand new catchy, rocking song “ Something Beautiful,” after which the band jammed on a seven minute version of Robinson’s

“Holding.”

They wound down their set with another jam on Neil Young's “Cortez the Killer.”
