Tin and the Toad play new music

E-mail Print PDF

Claresholm/ Nanton based country band Tin and the Toad played a pheTin and the Toad playing a new set at the Slice. Photo by Richard Amery nomenal set of country and roots music, Oct. 9 for good crowd at the Slice.

I only caught the second  set, but it was all new material and all of it rock solid with plenty  of catchy guitar and fantastic multi-part vocal harmonies.

In addition to new original material, they also added some excellent new covers including the New Willie Nelson song “It’s All Going to Pot.”

An excellent cover of “Barricades” from steel guitarist lead guitarist/ vocalist Steve Loree's other band Jr. Gone Wild,  let the band show off their excellent vocal harmonies.
