Because I was acting in Deathtrap, I only caught the encore from Vancouver rock duo The Pack A.D, Friday, Oct. 16.
They had a lot of people, many of whom were there doubtlessly because they saw the pack opening for grunge icons Alice In Chains last year.
I missed that show, but was glad to see drummer/ vocalist Maya Miller and guitarist/ vocalist Becky Black back at the Slice on a smaller stage, playing a big, loud, sweaty rock and roll show.
Their set was full of big guitars and drums and shouted out harmonies, a combination which had a good sized crowd jumping in front of the stage.
They have maintained their dirty, gritty, grungy sound but have also added a touch of the blues.
