Remembrance Day week will be a week to remember with “Big” and “Little” events happening throughout the week.
Remember Canada’s veterans at the Remembrance Day ceremonies at Exhibition Park beginning with fall in at 9:30 a.m for the ceremony, which ends at 11:30 a.m. and or the 
cenotaph downtown at noon.
In the evening get ready to bang your head with Calgary' groove metal, stoner rock band Chron Goblin who rock Inferno with Lustre Creame, Killage and Rainbow Patrol in support of their third CD “Backwater.” Doors open at 9 p.m. There is a $10 cover.
Or else you can laugh at the Owl Acoustic Lounge with the comedy open mic with hosts Cam Bye and Brett Hutchinson.
Thursday is marked by the first of three big fundraisers for LMT featuring several familiar faces from Lethbridge's thriving theatre and music scenes. Lights on Broadway runs at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12-14 at the Yates Theatre. Tickets cost $25.
Local bands are helping out Lethbridge's rising hockey stars this week.
The Chevelles play Coyote Joes, Nov. 13 to raise money for the Lethbridge Monsters Pee Wee hockey team. Tickets are $10 advance and $15 at the door.
The next night Trevor Panczak and Rough Stock help the Atom Tier 1 Hurricanes at Coyote Joes, Nov. 14. Tickets are $10 advance and $15 at the door.
It is a good week to rock and roll.
Moncton, New Brunswick rockers the Motorleague return to Lethbridge to tear up the Slice, Nov 13 with Toronto’s Dying Arts. There is an $8 cover for the show.
There is also a big rock show at the Owl Acoustic lounge with the Supervoid and Medicine Hat metalheads Western Death, Nov. 13.
And Canadian classic rock /pop rock legends Platinum Blonde will get you dancing at Soundgarden with local rock band the Dirti Speshuls, Nov. 13. Tickets are $40. Doors open at 8 p.m.
Across the street, if your toes are still tapping the next day, Hamburg's Basement Freaks plays funk and hip hop music at Inferno, Nov. 14. Tickets are five dollars at the door.
The “Big” show of the week is on a Sunday night, Nov. 15 when Big Sugar rock Average Joes in support of their brand new CD “Calling All The Youth” with one of Europe’s favourite bands Triggerfinger. Advance tickets for the show cost $25 or $30 on the day of the show. The show begins at 8 p.m., Nov. 15.
The “little” show of the week is the next night, Monday at the Slice when folk/ rock/ jazz/ blues musicians Little Miss Higgins and the Winnipeg Five return to Lethbridge.
The Lethbridge Symphony has their second concert of the season, taking audiences “Out of the World” with a space themed concert at the Southminster United Church, Nov. 16. at 8 p.m. Accordion payer Michael Bridge will be featured.
If you are in the mood for Christmas in November, the Moscow Ballet brings their production of the Nutcracker to the Enmax Centre for one night only, Nov. 16. Tickets are $35-$75 for the concert which begins at 7 p.m.
For something softer, renown Canadian pianist and composer Frank Mills, who is best known for his composition “Music Box Dancer” will be performing at the Yates Theatre, Nov. 15. Tickets are $61.50 for the concert, which begins at 7 p.m.
And if you like the classics, Robert Larabee brings his show An Evening With Legends to the Eagles Hall, Nov. 14. Tickets cost $35. The Vancouver based performer and songwriter will be doing his tribute to a variety of stars including Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, Buddy Holly, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, Roy Orbison and many others. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Another highlight of the weekend is the Lethbridge Entertainment Expo at the Enmax Centre, Nov. 14 and 15 featuring vendors, cosplay, fun for the kids and special guests Phil Lamarr, Jason Mewes, voice actor Billy West, Lee Arenberg and Brendan Hunter. Admission is $20 for adults. Kids 10 and under accompanied by an adult get in for free.
Those are just a few of the week's highlights, with regular open mics at the Folk Club’s Wolf’s Den happening on Friday and at Honker’s Pub on Friday as well.
