I was glad to catch one of my favourite local bands, Biloxi Parish at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Jan. 7.
While I missed an opening set from Evergreen, Biloxi Parish did not disappoint. They never do.
They have boundless energy and crazy energy from frontman Zach Passey. They had a new bassist for this show.
As usual they played a solid set of gritty original rock and roll with tinges of CCR and Neil Young. They ended a ferocious set for a full house with a pair of solid Neil Young covers— “Ohio” and “ Rust Never Sleeps.”
