Connor Flac and the HDs play a little rock and roll and some psychedelic country

A late announced show  from Calgary’s  the Fox Who Slept the Day Away at the Slice, still drew a decent crowd, Wednesday, May 31.HD and the Flacs at the Slice. Photo by Richard Amery

While I missed opening sets from Tyler VandenDool and Fox Who Slept the Day Away, I did catch an excellent new band Connor HD and the Flacs’ set.

They played some rock and roll with just a touch of psychedelic country. They played some straight ahead rock and roll, a touch of country and even a touch of funk.

Just because they could, they played a couple of songs they’d only played a couple times before, which sounded solid.
