It’s Remembrance Day week and we’re under several feet of snow, so like it or not, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
With that in mind, There will be the first Christmas farmer’s market of the season at Exhibition Park, Nov. 13 and 14 as well as Nov. 27 and 28.
This weekend’s Farmer’s Markets will be From 1-8 p.m. on Nov. 13 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. on Saturday.
But first Honker’s Pub has postponed a fundraising concert for the Lethbridge Food Bank to Jan. 9, 2021.
It was to be tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 10 and featuring local bands Vintage Wine, Whiskey Gap and local Volbeat Tribute the Rebel Angels.

Devin Gergel hosts an open mic at Beaches on Wednesday, The Slice has their weekly open mic on Thursday.
Honker’s Pub has two open mics this week.
Mark Hall hosts the afternoon open mic at Honker’s , Saturday , Nov. 14 beginning at 4 p.m.
Friday the 13 is lucky this month for music lovers.
Fifteenth anniversary celebrations continue at the Slice this week with a big hip hop show, on Friday, Nov. 13. Carpel, New Testament, LRev and Ollie X will be performing beginning at 9 p.m. There is a $10 cover charge for the show.
Red Deer based ’70s throwback power trio King Bull return to the Slice on Saturday, Nov. 14. Before that, the Slice hosts an afternoon jam at 4 p.m.
Down the street at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, local musician Lani Folkard, performs on Nov. 13.
The next night, beloved Winnipeg area singer songwriter Richard Inman returns to the Owl stage.
And Adequate bring the funk to Sound Garden Over 21 club on Nov. 13 and 14.
For laughter, Outhouse TV star Mike Lynch performs two shows on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $12.
Alberta comedian Andrew Grose returns to Good Times, Nov. 14 for two shows at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $12.
