Tru Apostles - "The following local hip hop group has been writing and performing for about 8 years. It consists of two mc's that are cousins, who represent the community of native american youth. Heavy knowledge the older and shorter of the two has been known to take part in rap battles, both freestyle and in the Canadian battle league KOTD. K-dub the younger of the two is an experienced producer and extremely talented rapper. Though they may have styles that have evolved very different from each other, together they find a balance as they feed off each others energy to bring a positive and fun take on hip hop. They are the tru apostles."

Sam Mackey - "Sam Mackey is an 19 year old, openly gay, female hip hop artist based out of Lethbridge AB. She says hip hop is a new genre for her to be working on. Where as before she had played jazz/funk percussion, drums for a local punk band, folk guitar and worked as a percussion teacher for young children. She says being open minded and versatile in music are the most important tools for her as an artist. Hip hop is the one genre she feels that she can express herself in lyrically. Atmosphere, a hip hop group based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, is Sam Mackey's biggest inspiration in hip hop today. She enjoys the raw and honest feeling to their music and says she models after that."

Chadley - "Chadley is a Nerdcore rapper from the bushy Forrest's of British Columbia. Some people define Nerdcore as "rapping about silly comics and video games" but I define it as "Rapping about whatever the fuck I want". Chadley dropped his first mixtape "Rappin in The Rain" last May and his new EP "Octopuss EP" is set to drop July 17th with some nerdy songs and some honest tracks about this crazy thing we call life."
