Locomotive Ghost plays bold, dynamic indie-folk music that incorporates elements of alt-rock, pop, and spoken word. The Calgary-based
quintet samples scientific backgrounds, exposes personal anecdotes, and
injects creative improbabilities to craft songs that are “at once
artistically expressive, accessible, fun, and full of small surprises”
(Avenue Calgary). The group draws from influences like The Head and The
Heart, Shane Koyczan, Feist, and Mother Mother to create "a mature and
confident sound that stands out from a lot of Canadian bands right now"
(Grayowl Point).

Owl is Lethbridge’s newest Lounge in the same building which had Mood, Squeaky’s Pub before and O Riley’s before that. They feature live acoustic music and excellent food. |
