He will becoming to Lethbridge to play the Slice and host their jam, April 29 with Blair Hogan.

“We have this weird duo happening. He does looping on stage and he has the biggest pedal board I’ve ever seen in my life. We have trouble crossing borders with it,” said Zeman.

“ And I’ve been learning to play bass pedals as well. So I’m singing and playing guitar and bass at the same time. It didn’t come naturally at first, but it has given me the faith that you can teach yourself to do anything,” he continued, taking a quick break from his studio work, where he not only records his new material, but other musicians as well.

“It’s a really fun way to make a living and a great way to spend an afternoon,” he said.

He is pleased with the response “ Rotten Tooth” has received.

“It did well. People liked it,” he said adding that was reassuring.

“ We split our crowd a little on this one and branched out from roots and country,” he said adding he is always exploring new directions for his music.
“ We always try to make it a little bit different, so we’ve been in the studio tossing around new ideas,” he said.

“ I don’t really take any breaks. I’m in between tours right now,” he continued adding he always enjoys being back on the road.
“It’s a different ball of stress, whether it is being in the studio or being on tour or booking a tour,” he said.
He said another new CD should be recorded and released by December.
