Local rock band the Raw Dogs helped raise a few dollars for Pronghorns women’s soccer at Average Joes, April 12.
They proved themselves to be a very diverse and varied cover band as they played a variety of pretty much note perfect covers ranging from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to Fountains of Wayne’s “ Stacy’s Mom.
They added a little bit of Green Day’s “Basket Case,” tackled Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life,” complete with talk box , did a hot version of Danko Jones’ “First Date” and went back to the ’80s with Bryan Adams on “Summer of ’69.”
They ended their set with the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army.”
