Raw Dogs help raise money for good causes with all kinds of covers

Local rock band the RaThe Raw Dogs playing classic covers. photo by Richard Ameryw Dogs helped raise a few dollars for Pronghorns  women’s soccer at Average Joes, April 12.


 They proved themselves to be a very diverse and varied cover band as they played a variety of pretty much note perfect covers ranging from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to  Fountains of Wayne’s “ Stacy’s Mom.


 They added a little bit of Green Day’s “Basket Case,”  tackled  Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life,” complete with talk box , did a hot version of  Danko Jones’ “First Date” and went back to the ’80s with Bryan Adams on “Summer of ’69.”


They ended their set with  the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army.”
