A good sized crowd came out for an early starting, multi band fundraiser for Streets Alive at the Eagles Hall, Saturday Dec. 5.
They had a variety of different genres and musicians on the bill including Ryland Moranz playing folk and bluegrass music plus others playing folk, blues pop, punk and metal music from Eli Whit, Kris Goodfellow, Open 24-7, Friends of Fame, Stephanie Savage, White Chocolate Thunder and the Youngbloods.
I only caught the last couple songs of tight, up tempo pop punk from White Chocolate Thunder.
While a lot of them had gone by the time the last two bands White Chocolate and the Youngbloods took the stage, there were still close to 175 people waiting for local punk/ screamo band the Youngboods.
The Youngbloods were worth waiting for. As the heaviest band of the night, they played a super, energetic set of hyperactive punk and metal and screamo music. The band members leaped all over the stage alternating lead vocals and screaming and singing.
The event raised $830 for Streets Alive.
