They return to Lethbridge to play the Owl Acoustic Lounge, March 23.

“We’ve been playing a lot. But we’ve been playing  close to home because D’Arcy (Booth), our bass player had a baby with his wife,” said lead singer/ lead guitarist Devon  Bjarnason. Drummer Rod Anderson completes the trio.

“We’ve  also been writing new material, but we’re in no rush to release anything,” he continued, adding they have had  a busy winter  playing ski hills and private parties.

“So we’ve been doing a lot of practicing and playing. There’s a lot of ski hills around here, so we’ve had a busy winter,” he said, adding it has been nice to spend some time with family and friends at home.

“There were four or five years where we were putting on a lot of miles and we  were barely at home so it’s been nice. But I 100 per cent miss being on the road. So I’m super excited to be touring again. It’s a catch 22 situation,” he said, noting they have several big summer festivals booked from the Okanagan to Toronto, so they will be spending a lot more time traveling.

“It has been a number of years since we played Lethbridge, but we always enjoy playing there. I am stoked to go back and tour, travelling from town to town and playing some of those rooms again,” he said.
“It will be nice to play for those people again.”

He said they will be playing a few new songs.

“We’ve been playing a lot of acoustic shows lately with D’ Arcy on guitar and Rod on percussion and cajón. So we’ll be playing a lot of that at the Owl and  then move into the blues rock we usually do,” he said.
“And there will be some new songs from the last album and some newer songs,” he said.

The show begins at approximately 9 p.m. Admission is by donation.
