Erin Ross is excite to play a female powered songwriters in the round show at the Slice, March 6 in honour of International Women’s Day.

Though International  Women’s Day isn’t until March 8, Ross is excited to bring some of Lethbridge and Calgary’s favourite songwriters together for the show.

“We are celebrating International Women’s Day,” said Ross, who will be joined by fellow Calgarian Heather Blush plus local talent Shaela Miller and Ali Stuart.

“ It will be a traditional songwriters in the round, so we’ll all take turns playing our songs,” she said.

“We all play different styles of music. and we have  some super talented women playing on stage,“ she enthused, adding the show will include  blues, roots, country and more.

“ We’re sharing all of these different styles on stage together,” she said.
 The music begins  at 9 p.m.
