The Decadent Phase channelled their inner flower children for a solid set of psychedelic rock at the Slice, Saturday, July 30.

James Swinney and his band   explored the reaches of ’60s acid rock for their set which was mostly  original music, though they played some  obscure covers as well.

There were plenty of wah wah pedal drenched riffs and solos and plenty of extended jams on epic length compositions.

One channelled a few bars of the Who’s “Pinball Wizard.”

And they played a cool cover of Beatles obscurity “The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill, (Who Did you kill.)”
