New art exhibits opening at Dr. Penny Foster Building and Casa

University of Lethbridge New media 1000 classes are taking over the Dr. Penny Foster Building downtown  beginning Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. The classes will be exhibiting their favourite photos, 3-D animation and posters created this semester. The exhibit runs Nov. 4-15, but  get a sneak peak on Nov. 1. Rebecka Johnston will be performing some live music. There will also be an animation showcase, Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. Admission is free.


Casa opens several new exhibits, Nov. 2 Jeanne Kollee explores “Why Are We Here” in the concourse Gallery, The Textile Surface Design Guild  features “You Can’t Get There From Here” in the concourse showcase.


 The Main Gallery features Freyja Patton”s “1984 Cranes”, while David Miller presents “New Borders. Harley Morman’s Disorientation is in the  project space.

Mike Jensen explores Hstorical Lethbridge in  the Digital Gallery and Lorraine Lee’s “ Geez, it‘s Cold Outs!— Ooooh Looks Sparkly in the main floor showcase.
 The opening reception is 7-9 p.m.. The exhibits run from Nov. 20-Dec. 21.
