The Murder Mouse Bluyes band are a folk/ blues band from Australia.
Jon Edwards has been playing music for the most part of his life, born and bred in the hills of Western Australia Jon descended down into the wilderness of the city to study music at the prestigious Conservat
orium of Music of Western Australia. Jon has spent the last few years before The Murder Mouse Blues Band wandering through Europe studying French Bardic music and the troubadour tradition as well as Celtic Mythology and music's connection to the earth. Jon is also an accomplished solo performer and singer/sonwriter as well as being a multi-instrumentalist as demonstrated on Fill the Hole. Jon has brought his influences of jazz, funk, pop, folk and of course blues to the Murder Mouse sound.
Biggest Influences: Tennyson, Thoreau, Cake.
When Jon has time to himself he enjoys beer and wine appreciation, foreign films and mountain climbing.
Warren Hall-Drums, Percussion
There's not much to say about Warren other than the only thing he does better than drum is dress. Warren is the handsome man in the retro Coleman cap usually found to be wearing classic shirts which cost more money than the kit he's sitting on. A hugely sought after drummer in Australia, Warren has performed all over the world with various outfits over the past fifteen years. His emotional drumming is a highlight to watch at Murder Mouse shows and his outfits are just as compelling. Easily the best dressed man in Rock and Roll today.
When Warren is not banging the skins he enjoys impersonating Cuban bootleggers and ironing his wardrobe.
