Merging dubstep and glitch hop intensity with funk and
classic music from the 30’s and beyond, Defunk has surely made a name
for himself in the electronic music world. He has helped create the new
fresh style of ghetto-swing and electro-blues, combining elements of big
band, swing and old blues with breaks and hip hop. He has also received
support from the biggest names in ghetto funk, and experimented with
all sorts of tempos. He has been released on five different
international labels, but still manages to put out free releases and
remixes consistently.
His live performance is always
one of a journey. He switches tempos, moods and sounds to fit the time
and place, and brings the audience for a ride that explores many facets
of bass music. Whether he’s mashing up classic songs you grew up with or
smashing your face off with new beats and rhythm’s, he is guaranteed to
make you move!

As soon as he picked up the decks in 2001 Big Delicious has
been spinning straight science. Hip-hop to breaks with some sprinklings
of house and old school, he keeps the floor full of vibin' positivity
and big room beats. One of the original members of Sound Advice since
day one and since could not be stopped. After carving up the scene for 2
years under the solo flag, he went on to team up with another Sound
Advice member Pete Wilde to form "Buck Wilde" and since has been
resident at some of western Canada's largest summer music festivals
including Motion Notion and Astral Harvest. With over a decade in the
scene behind the decks, the evolution of this menace isn't stopping any
time soon. The guest list is in and he ain't flexin'.

Marty Funkhauser, man, myth, shit talker, funk maker hails
from the thriving metropolis of Taber Alberta. He recently returned to
his roots in Lethbridge Alberta after honing his skills, terrorizing
people and crafting his signature grease funk sound for the past ten
years in Vancouver, B.C. Surrounded by music since birth he has taken
inspiration from just about everything he has listened to but first got
hooked on his trademark funk/disco sound and dj'ing from attending
parties in the late 90's early 2000's during the disco house hayday, if
you remember this era prepare to be delighted. Martys sound is a
combination of all things funky, disco,dirty, quirky or much like
himself just plain weird. On any given night you can here him seamlessly
travel between funky breaks, classic speed garage, jackin disco house
and ghetto funk. A meticulous track selector and a love for smooth, long
tight interesting mixes make this loveable scamp a complete joy to
watch. His prime directive is fun and feeding your funky addiction to
dance floor jams.
