Here's a few things that are happening for Cornfest 2011
 

Thursday, Aug. 25th
Wristband Night - ride the rides from 5:00 pm till 11:00 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Wristbands are available at Taber Safeway, Taber IGA and the Taber Chamber of Commerce Office.
 
 
Friday, Aug. 26th
 

    Ar-Tech Coating Opening Ceremonies  5:30-6:15pm (Stage area)
    Kent Moffitt Chili Cook-off   3-8pm
    2nd Annual Rebel's Cornfest Classic Football Game  4:00 pm at Ken McDonald Sportsfield 
    Conagra Lamb Weston Cornbread Contest 
    Cornfest Chinook Rodeo 7:00 pm at Taber Agri-Plex
    Midway
    Beer Gardens
    West Coast Lumberjack Show 6:15 pm, next to the Beer Gardens
    Live entertainment on stage until midnight with the closing show being the Bamboo Guppies

Saturday, Aug. 27th

     Taber IGA and Taber Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast: 8:00 am - 10:00 am
    Arts & Crafts Sale at the Community Centre Auditorium
    Town of Taber Fun Run 5 km & 10 km
    Corn Country Cruisers Show and Shine: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Downtown Taber
    Interpipeline Corn Stuffing Competition: 1:30 pm
    Western Tractor Corn Eating Competition: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
    West Coast Lumberjack Shows: 2:00 pm, 4:45 pm 8:15 pm
    1st Annual Boarderline Skateboard Contest at Taber Skatepark. Registration and warm up at 4:00 pm, contest starts at 5:00 pm
    Jump for Fun: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
    Petting Zoo
    Face Painting
    CPR Puffer Belly Express: Take a train ride around the park for FREE
    Midway
    Fireworks: 10:00 pm
    Beer Gardens
    Live entertainment on stage from 9:30 am - 12:00 am with the Chevelles being the closing show.

    Cornfest Shuttle Service: Available Saturday from 11:00 am - 11:00 pm, runs every 1/2 hour. From St. Mary's and W.R. Myers High Schools to the Cornfest grounds. FREE
    Kinsmen 50/50 Raffle

 

Sunday, Aug. 28th

Non denominational Church Service in the Park with barbeque to follow. Church service at 11am.
