The Slice brought back Maria in the Shower, Aug. 24, who started their show off a lot slower than their previous Slice shows.
But I could tell it was going to be a lot of fun with a big stand-up bass, some upbeat accordion, a couple horns, crazy hats and a lot of energy. You knew it was going to be a fun show as soon as the kazoo made its appearance.
And it was as the good sized crowd took to the dance floor.
The band grinned and jumped all over the stage as they played a tight set of upbeat jazz/ folk/ cabaret music, for a crowd that was really enjoying it.
I was sorry I couldn’t stay longer, but did not want to miss a couple other outstanding shows.
