It is always great to see Sarah Burton back for a Lethbridge show.
She played to a good sized house at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, June 23 I only caught part of her first set which included a few new songs from her new Cd “Fire Breathers” and some old favourites like “How Good You Are.”
She even played a Shins cover to the delight of many in the audience.
As always she displayed her lovely, jazz tinged voice, but has gone a lot more country.
She also added a stand up bassist Luke Stackhouse who added a lot more variety to her sound as he plucked rhythms as well as bowed them.
