As I much as I hate checking out gigs in the dark, I had to check out the end of the world party, Dec. 21 at the Owl Acoustic Lounge.
The place looked deserted from the outside as owners turned off all the lights and lit up the room with candles.
There was also no set musicians, however several people brought instruments, so the packed house echoed with the sounds of various drums, guitars and even an accordion.
Co-owner Steve Foord was so impressed by the turnout he may even hold a similar event in the future.
