Fridays get funky with Furious D and Gordon Leigh

E-mail Print PDF

Furious D rapping with jazz from Gordon Leigh and the Naked Ear. Photo By Richard AmeryThe Mix Lounge at  Ric’s Grill got a little more funky, March 1.

A decent sized crowd watched Lethbridge based  experimental jazz combo Gordon Leigh and the Naked  Ear mix things  up with Lethbridge rapper Furious D.

I arrived in the middle of a set with  Gordon Leigh and the Naked ear setting a groove  on French horn,  a couple different keyboards, bass and drums.
Furious D joined them with an uplifting set of rap music as Leigh chimed in with the odd French horn or odd keyboard sounds.
