Paul Kype and Texas Flood play the soundtrack to the party

E-mail Print PDF

Paul Kype and Texas Flood packed the Slice, March 2 with a couple of birthday parties and blues lovers. They were happy to play the soundtrack to it all.Paul Kype and Texas Flood. Photo by Richard Amery

Greg Gomola sang lead on a couple of his Zojo Black songs, backed by Texas Flood.

They played an array of popular covers including “Wagon Wheel,” which a lot of people play these days, and a few originals as well with a crack band including Earl McAuley on keyboards and Brady Valgardson on drums.
They had a lot of dancing and  tore apart a medley of Johnny Cash  country hits including  Folsom Prison Blues, Get Rhythm and Boy Named Sue.
