Ruby Plumes rock the punk

E-mail Print PDF

The Ruby Plumes at the Slice, July 26. Photo by Richard AmeryThe Ruby Plumes capped off an energetic night of punk and rock related music, July 26 at the Slice. While I missed the Void and the Yeah Dads, The Ruby Plumes supplied their standard set of old school punk rock in covers and originals.

They played some songs I hadn’t heard from them before including an obscure Mudhoney cover and an energetic version of Lou Reed’s “Sweet Jane” as well as their cover of  McLusky’s “To Hell With Good Intentions.”
