Dirtis Speshuls introduce new guitarist

E-mail Print PDF

It is always a pleasure to see Lethbridge rock band Dirti Speshuls play a local show. So while I missed opening act the Delawares and last minute additions the The Dirti Speshuls Todd Carter and Jeremy Hendricks. Photo by Richard AmeryMormon Girls, I caught all of the Dirti Speshuls.

They played pretty much all of the songs from their new album “Long Time Coming” from beginning to end. So highlights like “Gotta Go” and “ Come On Kid,” were early highlights of the show, which was interspersed with choice covers.

They played a more laid back jazzy number and played a pretty much note for note rendition of Sloan’s “If It Feels Good Do it.”

They also got to show their new guitar player Jeremy Hendricks who fit right in through covers and excellent originals like “Tried and True.”

They ended their set with a hot version of the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage.”
