This week isn’t as busy as some of the previous weeks.
But, as always, there are a variety of shows happening.

For something a little more mellow, Edmonton Baroque pop trio F &M play the Owl Acoustic Lounge on Nov. 6.

There are a variety of events happening on the weekend. First the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra gets romantic with their second Chamber Music series presentation of the season

featuring pianist Glen Montgomery. The concert is Nov. 7 at Southminster United Church. Tickets range from $20-$35.

For something completely the opposite of that, Inferno brings in the West Coast Renaissance tour, Nov. 7 featuring some of Western Canada's best hip hop artists including Swollen Members’ Prevail plus Kyprios, Neph and many others performing beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.

The Slice goes rock with Jaffray, B.C. punk/ hip  hop influenced acoustic musician Commander Xander's cassette release party, Nov. 7 featuring Planet Telex and the Mormon Girls. There is an $8 cover in advance, $10 at the door.

The Slice goes blues, Nov. 8 with Lethbridge sbluesman Papa King and his new band playing the blues all night long.

The Owl Acoustic Lounge also has a variety of acts this week including Calgary rockabilly/ roots band Mercury Audio on Nov. 8 and  local rock band the Juxtaposers on Nov. 7.
The big rock show of the week is on Sunday, Nov. 9 with Tokyo Police Club and Said the Whale. Tickets cost $30 in advance for the show at Average Joes which begins at 9 p.m.
If you want to laugh, Average Joes has Yuk Yuks Comedy on Nov.7 featuring Calgary comedian Scott Dumas.

And Scores features Edmonton comedian Mike “Pickle” Dambra  on Nov. 10. Tickets are $15. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Plus Mentalist Jeff Newman and stunt magician Wes Barker perform, Nov. 8 at Inferno. There is a $10 cover for the show, so don’t miss it.
