It is always great to hear Calgary Canadiana country singer Tim Hus in Lethbridge.
Hus and his trio including Billy MacInnis on fiddle and guitar and upright bassist Riley Tubbs entertained an enraptured crowd at the Geomatic Attic, Saturday, March 21 with jokes, stories and lots of songs.
I arrived in the middle of a hot fiddle solo as Hus wound down his show. He ended with a couple of his southern Albertan songs including a catchy one about coal mining.
He stayed in southern Alberta by going to the Crowsnest Pass for crowd favourite “Rumrunner.”
They were called back for an encore — surprising a brand new song called Wild Rose Waltz, which name dropped numerous Southern and Central Alberta communities.
