Roy Davidson Orchestra play indie rock at Casino

E-mail Print PDF

Nobody was there to hear the last set of Edmonton’s Roy Davidson Orchestra at Casino Lethbridge, July 11 which gave them a  chance to play original music from their new self titled CD. The Roy Davidson Orchestra at Casino Lethbridge, July 10 and 11. Photo by Richard Amery
They were at the Casino, July 10 and 11.

They reminded me a lot of the Drive by Truckers playing indie rock. But they also had some Sloan style power pop.

There was some nice playing, excellent vocal melodies, some harmonies and an all round solid set.
They ended  their set with last song on their  EP  “Drugs and Girls.”
