Lev Snowe mellows out crowd on a Tuesday

A good sized crowd packed the Owl Acoustic Lounge on Tuesday, Aug. 2 for local band Doug’s debut and Winnipeg’s Lev Snowe.Lev Snowe and his band at the Owl Acoustic Lounge. Photo by Richard Amery
While I missed Doug’s set, I was just in time for a mellow set of ambient indie-pop and dreamy indie rock reminiscent of Radiohead and U2. Though frontman Lev Snowe joked to the crowd about playing a set of classic rock.
So that meant there was plenty of delay and echo laden, chiming guitar licks
Ethereal  keyboards added extra layers of sound and laid back tones.
