Laugh Rebel nothing to laugh at

E-mail Print PDF

While Mammoth Cave Fest  2 drew a lot of people, Sunday, there was a more sedate but no less enjoyable show at Mocha Cabana with Nelson/ North Bay folk /pop duo Laugh Rebel. Laugh Rebel played to an intimate audience at the Mocha Cabana. Photo by Richard Amery

A handful of people in attendance enjoyed some sweet vocal harmonies, some laid back drumming and a strong KT  Tunstall vibe as  Jennifer Plummer and Jen Courchesne switched instruments and sang pretty original music, including  selections from their new six song EP, ‘Leave Again.’ The title track was a highlight as was another one called ‘Real Vibe.’
The duo, who have been playing together on and off since 2006, are touring their way over to Prince Edward Island over the next month.
