Fawns was baring their hearts at the Slice for an intimate audience, June 25 at the Slice.
As always they played original alternative rock music, which had a strong Alanis Morissette feel and a strong female empowerment and mental health themes.
Lead singer Mercedes Fawns, bounced all over the stage belting out heartfelt vocals, talking about safe spaces in between songs.
They played songs from their debut CD and a lot more, though I only caught the end of their set.
