Berserker goes berserk on stage

Jon Vornbrock’s new band , Berserker, helped rock June to a close, on June 30. Local psychobilly/punk band  the Phantom Creeps, who are back as a trio,  opened up the show with a tight set of crowd favourites.

The aptly named Berserker, who includes former members of Atrophy Manuscript,  had a packed house on the floor jumping around to a quick set of  triple guitar  powered screamo style music  which sounded like Alexisonfire meets the Foo Fighters. They had a lot of energy and a lot of dissonant chords. Vornbrock started off on just vocals , thee grabbed his guitar  to  create a triple guitar aural bludgeoning.

They were tight and have a lot of potential for those who want to rock, or just scream, or just work off some excess aggression.
