Necessities haunt Pop’s Pub for Hallowe’en

I only hit a fraction of the dozen or so Halloween gigs in Lethbridge featuring live music, Oct. 30.

The Necessities, all dressed as a variety of characters had Pop’s Pub packed, Oct. 30.

As per usual , the Necessities played a tight set of mostly original folk/pop/rock which had most of the good sized crowd dancing from the first few bars of “Brian Wells,” from their debut CD.

But they also played a variety of popular classic rock covers including “For What It’s Worth,” and numerous others.

There were a variety of colourful and creative costumes in attendance ranging from zombie surgeons, witches, warlocks, police officers and members of KISS, all of whom were enjoying the band’s laid back, yet upbeat vibe.
