Calgary rockabilly band Peter and the Wolves  ( Howling’ Pete Cormier on guitar, Ms. Cherry Kisses on drums and Theo Waite on upright bass) always put on an enjoyable show as they did at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, where they wound down thPete Cormier , Ms. Cherry Kisses and Theo Waite of Peter and the Wolves.  They had an enthusiastic couple of couples doing their best ’50s dance moves in front of the stage and the band, trimmed down to their core trio played a hot set of vintage ’50s originals with a few standards thrown in for variety.

Frontman Peter Cormier beamed and did his best Elvis impression.

They played a lot of their new CD “Papa’s Going Out of Town.”

Most of the set was high energy and sweat filled, though they slowed things down slightly for a cover of “ St. James Infirmary.”
