Dan Quinn is a natural storyteller. With tales taken from his life he has become an international headliner. He tours Canada, the U.S, the U.K.  and recently did his first shows in Amsterdam. He has opened for Russel Peters, Tracy Morgan, Rob Schneider, Bob Saget and Tom Green.

His comedy is honest, personal edgy, relatable and always funny. Winner of The Canadian comedy competition at Just for Laughs, Chosen Best of the Fest, Moncton Comedy festival, Vancouver Comedy Festival. He has been seen on CBC, CTV and the Comedy Network and heard on XM Radio.

He has developed a following in western Canada through his constant touring and opening for such big name acts as Russell Peters, Rob Schneider, Tom Green, Tracy Morgan and Bob Saget. His DVD “The Stuff i wanted to say has sold over 5000 copies.

 

Craig Campbell

In the past year Craig has been nominated Best Headliner at The Chortle Awards, supported Frankie Boyle on his 120 date nationwide tour, finished his own nationwide solo tour – Craig Campbell Live – and performed on Dave’s One Night Stand, Russell Howard’s Good News and Michael Macintyre’s Comedy Roadshow. Craig will be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from August 3rd – 28th at the Edinburgh Stand and will begin touring the country again this September.

Craig was the notorious host of Canada’s legendary Ed’s Night Party, and headline guest on numerous Canadian TV shows such as Jim Carrey Live, The Dennis Miller Show and Just for Laughs.  He is a firm fringe favourite having made his Edinburgh debut alongside Tony Law and Dan Antopolski as part of comedy trio The Dinks which won great critical and box office success, leading to an invitation to perform in the Best Of Edinburgh programme in New York.  He has since supported Rich Hall on his international tour and had two further successful solo shows in Edinburgh.

Description

The Yates Theatre is located downtown next to Lethbidge City Hall. It is a great room which hosts a variety of shows including music and comedy from Ian Tyson to Ron James.

 The Genevieve E. Yates Memorial Centre consists of two performance spaces, the Yates Theatre, a 486 seat proscenium theatre, and the Sterndale Bennett Theatre, a black box theatre with a maximum audience capacity of 180. Several facilities are shared between the two theatres. These include a costume construction/sewing room; a set construction workshop; set, costume, and property storage areas; offices; box office and concessions. In addition to serving as a performance venue, the Yates Memorial Centre also houses an art gallery in the upper mezzanine area. Works from new and established visual artists are displayed on a rotating basis for the enjoyment of both theatre patrons and the general public.
