Koinobori is a long colorful streamer in the shape of a
koi fish, used to celebrate the happiness of children. Koinobori
streamers are a common site all over Japan during Golden Week, a
week-long Japanese holiday in May. Koinobori come in all shapes and
sizes, but one thing they all have in common is the exuberant color that
ushers in life into any location.
Taiko is an ancient Japanese form of percussion using large drums.
