The Slice brought back northern B.C. based roots/folk musician Miss Quincy, Thursday, July 7.
This time she was backed by a hot drummer and stand-up bassist, who made her uptempo folk/ roots music sing.
She sang in a beautiful smokey, sultry, jazz tinged voice and played guitar during a laid back set, while her bassist, her fedora pulled down low over her eyes danced to the sexy groove she laid down as the be-hatted drummer set down the beat.
The small but mighty audience applauded appreciatively as she played much of her debut CD “Your Mama Don’t Like Me.”
