Shaela Miller band returns to Lethbridge stage

E-mail Print PDF

I haven’t seen Shaela Miller and her band play for a while, so I made a point of stopping by Casino Lethbridge, Friday, March 25 to catch the end of their sweet their.

Her new band incShaela Miller and her band returned to Casino Lethbridge, March 25. Photo by Richard Ameryluding drummer Tyler Bird, upright bassist Paul Holden and steel guitarist Ryan, Danny Dyck played a solid set of traditional country music along the lines of George Jones and June Carter.

Miller and Dyck’s voices complemented each other very well.
The set seemed to be music they haven’t played often, so it was great to hear some new material from them.

I thought I heard a Merle Haggard song “ I Started Loving You Again” and they ended their set with Johnny Cash’s “ Cry, Cry Cry.”
