- Come check out B.C's own Daniel Wesley and Broken Host as they rock The Zoo, the University of Lethbridge's campus pub.

One of the most exciting bands to play Lethbridge is back again after a too-long hiatus!! Broken Host has been winning acclaim all over western Canada with their amazing style, knockdown sound, and crazy dance vibe!!

This is a University of Lethbridge Students' Union event and is subject to ULSU regulations and policies. Notably, that all attendees must be either a UofL student or a guest of a UofL student. Only one guest per student.
This event is part of a larger three-day welcome back event to the spring semester for ...UofL students called Meltdown.
Broken Host is part of the opening acts for the Meltdown Concert Featuring Daniel Wesley. There are two ways to gain entry into this event; visit the SU Atrium this week, sign-up to register for Meltdown (for a fee of $5.00) and you get entry into the concert. Visit the Meltdown event on Facebook for more information. Or, pay $10 at the door on Friday Jan 21st if you are a UofL student who is not registered in Meltdown or a guest of a UofL student. Doors open at 8 pm.

Come down to The Zoo on the 21st of January, and throw down some dance moves, and enjoy the soon to be legendary sound of Broken Host!!

http://www.myspace.com/brokenhost Band Bio! Broken Host officially became a band in September 2010! Alex Shenton and Tyler Buhr were the original members of the band and started playing together in the winter of 2008. About a year after meeting, they bumped into a fellow named Arlen Speakman. He played keys. During the Winter of 2009 while these three young gentleman were practicing in a basement, the door bell rang. Not expecting any visitors, we rushed to the door to find out who might be soliciting at this time of day! And there stood the stranger: Derek Hrynyk. Guitar in one hand, and amp in the other. We all stared at each other for a few awkward seconds of silence, then Derek piped up; “hey, I’m Derek, and I live 2 doors down. (awkward pause) I heard you guys jamming and it sounded like you were missing a guitarist! Can I jam with you guys?” 6 months later, we dropped what we were doing, moved to Saskatoon, and pursued our passion. Music. To be continued…..
