There is an old saying, “that time flies when you are having fun”. That has never been truer than in Joe’s Garage, the back room, concert venue in Average Joe’s Sports Bar in Lethbridge. It has already been one year since The Garage was opened. It has quickly become one of the premier entertainment spots in the city. Listen to some of the varied acts who have taken to the stage, Streetheart, J.D. Bixby, The Irish Descendants, Almost Johnny Cash, The Chevelles, Nazareth, Julian Austin, and Doug and The Slugs, to name a few. As well, there are regular features, like the Dueling Pianos, Yuk Yuks Comedy Club, and Karaoke night.

To celebrate their one year anniversary, Joe’s Garage will have a party on Sunday night, May 22nd. Lethbridge’s own gentle giant country music star, Trevor Panczak will take to the stage. Trevor will entertain with his well-known blend of country classics and his own musical creations including songs from his latest CD, Another Day, Another Dollar. As well as the music, all patrons present get their names in a draw for a 32 inch HDTV. There will also be many other great prizes provided by Budweiser.

The party starts at 9:00 P.M. in Joe’s Garage. Tickets are on sale now for $10.00 at Average Joe’s Sports Bar, 420 -6th street, south, in Lethbridge.
